Printmaker, Monique Bedard, was one of the three successful Fanshawe College graduating students who won this year's top 3 prizes in the National Student Art Competition held by the St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre in Ontario. In Bedard's three-dimensional plexiglas silkscreen portraits, she breaks her photographically produced images into digitally separated layers of colour to explore the spatial relationship between each layer.
